Josh was born on May 19th, 1987 in Richardson, TX. From a young age, he enjoyed performing for friends and family. He moved to Wylie in the spring of 2001 and began to pursue an interest in Theatre. He began to really focus on acting during his Sophomore year at Wylie High School where he took on such roles as, "The White Rabbit" in Alice in Wonderland, which won him a Dallas Morning News Cappie's Best Comedic Actor nomination in 2005.

 

He went on to study Theatre in College at UT-Arlington and began taking classes towards a Film minor as well. There he wrote and directed his first short film "Purpose Driven Life". He moved to Austin, TX in 2008 shortly after stage managing his first show "WORKING: The Musical" directed by Dallas area legend BJ Cleveland.

 

Upon his arrival in the "Live Music Capital of the World", Josh began working as a Stage Manager, Lighting Technician, and Scenic Carpenter for Austin Community College. During his first year at ACC, Josh simultaneously stage managed Shelby Brammer's production of "Proof" by David Auburn while also starring as "Pentheus" in Arthur Adair's adaptation of "Euripides' Bacchae", for which he was nominated for an Irene Ryan Acting Award during the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival's Regional competition in the Fall of 2008. After 4 1/2 successful years working on various productions at ACC, Josh was offered and accepted the role of Technical Director for an elite event lighting/production company leading crews, managing warehouse inventory, and aiding in lighting designs for various events which included Weddings, Bar Mitzvah's, Band Showcases, and many Corporate Events.

 

Currently, Josh is the vocalist of the heavy metal cover band "Röadhed" and continues to pursue opportunities in all art mediums including theatre, film, television, and music.
